Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of Monday Night Raw live from St. Paul, Minnesota.
We start off with the Judgement Day on the mic as Finn Balor says he will beat Edge in their upcoming I
Quit Match at Extreme Rules, Damian Priest vows to take out anyone who comes for them, and Dominik
gets a WHO’S YOUR DADDY chant. Dominik plays to the crowd and says Rhea is, while saying he hates
his father Rey Mysterio and how the Judgement Day is his new family. Balor says he could have taken
out Edge previously last week, which AJ Styles comes in with the interruption and here we go with the
first match. (Great way to start off RAW and really give the Judgement Day a chance to shine and take
the WHO’S YOUR DADDY heat and make it work, Eddie would be proud.)
We have the Judgement Day v. Styles/Rey Mysterio match which was fairly decent with Judgement Day
getting the W with Balor hitting the Coup de Grace on Styles with help from interference from Rhea and
Dominik on Mysterio. Post match Styles confronts Rey and shoves him down only for the Judgement Day
to come in and beat Styles up. (This could lead to how Styles may join the Judgement Day, which l
wouldn’t be against.)
We cut to Bobby Lashley who says he is happy to be US Champion and he’s ready to defend the title
against any one next week. Mustafa Ali comes out and says he wants a chance right now. Lashley just
brushes him off so Ali spins him back around and pokes him in his chest. That seems to be enough to get
Lashley’s attention for a title match. (Lashley has been needing a proper program for his US title run,
and Ali who is a very under-rated wrestler needs to have a proper feud of his own. This can be beneficial
for both sides, and l’m all for it.)
We cut to a segment that includes Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa as Sami is telling a story
about a couch being on a fire. Jey Uso comes in serious and says they’re here to tell everyone that
Roman Reigns will be here next week as they run into the Street Profits who look unimpressed. (well, l
think they could have just done an announcement for the Tribal Chief to show up next week instead of a
tv segment but l digress.)
Next up is our match between Lashley v. Ali in a non-title match. (This should have been a title match!).
Great match between the two as Lashley gets the win over Ali via the Hurt Locker and Ali passed out.
(For me, l felt this should have been booked differently giving Ali a surprise win over Lashley and setting
up a proper program. It made no sense to have Ali come out for a title shot and Lashley wins in
dominating fashion.)
Post match Lashley seems like he will help Ali up, but Rollins comes out and does the Stomp on both Ali
and Lashley as Rollins remains in the ring and cuts a promo for his match with Riddle and their Fight Pit
match at Extreme Rules. Riddle comes out and they both talking until UFC fighter Daniel Cormier comes
on screen and says he will be the guest referee for their Fight Pit match. Rollins mentions Riddle and his
family issues and Riddle well, insults Seth Rolling’s breath. (Not a bad segment as finally a match fitting
extreme rules PPV between two great wrestlers should make for an interesting match.)
Candice LeRae gets a pep talk from Asuka/Belair/Bliss as we see another QR code comes up. (This White
Rabbit thing is gaining so much traction it makes the segment between the women almost
unimportant.)
Miz is on the phone and wants Dexter Lumis out of his life before next week because it’s his b-day
celebration coming up. Only to see Lumis opens the door behind him but Miz doesn’t see it while Miz is
trying to find Ciampa. (I hope this leads to something, because how many times are we going to watch
Lumis kidnap Miz unless this is going somewhere.)
Next up we have Dakota Kai vs. Candice LeRae in a fairly decent match as due to interference from
Damage Control allows Kai to get the W over LeRae.
Gargano finds Miz who is out cold only to wake him up and Miz has a drawing of himself and Lumis on
his chest to which Miz takes off. (Again, this needs to go somewhere with this angle.)
Bayley says she is excited to sign a contract in her match against Bianca BelAir tonight and say bad things
are coming while the announcement team acknowledges the passing of legend Antonio Inoki.
Our next match is Otis vs. Gargano which was an ok match between the two, as Otis with interference
from Theory via a briefcase shot to Gargano which allows Otis to hit the World’s Strongest Slam for the
W. Post match Brawn Strowman comes out for the save and begins the next match.
Braun Strowman v. Chad Gable is next in which Strowman wins in domination fashion via boot to the
face and powerbomb for the W.
We cut to Lashley swearing vengeance on Rollins. (Well this seems like this will predict something will
happen at Extreme Rules but still, l wish Ali got more than a single match and is now an afterthought.)
Bayley and Bianca Bel Air are in the ring for their contract signing. Bayley says for all the times Bianca
was cheered for, her accomplishments as really Bayley’s accomplishments. Belair says Bayley is showing
the world the real her as Bianca says you will still call her champ after Extreme Rules. Bayley says that
Damage Control will be in her corner Saturday as we cut to the back. We Sky and Kai beating up Asuka
and Bliss in the back which allows Bayley to try to get a cheap shot on Belair but Belair fight Bayley off
and runs to the back to assist. Bliss helping Asuka says she wants Sky tonight.
We cut back to the match of Angelo Dawkins v. Solo Sikoa with The bloodline at ringside and Montez
Ford in a cast (is he injured?). Not a bad match as due to interference from Sami and Jey, Sikoa gets the
win over Dawkins hitting the Spinning Solo.
Quick segment of Theory being happy with Otis and promises to take out Gargano on Smackdown.
Edge comes out and cuts a promo about his upcoming match with Balor which was really good, but its
Edge do we really expect anything less?
We have our final match of the night with Alexa Bliss v. Iyo Sky with Damage Control and Bianca BelAir
ringside. Not a bad match between the two as Damage Control interferes which allows Sky to get the W
over Bliss via moonsault. Post match Asuka who is hurt comes down with a kendo stick but Damage
Control beats down all three and poses on the ladder with the titles to end the show.
Overall, it’s a solid go home show for RAW before Extreme Rules, with a lot of great scheduled matches.
The only thing l would point out is that Lashley needs a good feud and Ali could have been the answer to
that, but the immediate dismissal post match makes no sense. Some wrestlers deserve a push and not
be used as a stepping stone for others but that’s just me. My rating for this RAW edition is 3 ½ chair
shots out of 5. Peace!

Judgement Day
Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of NXT for 10/4/22. Let’s roll.
We start off with Pretty Deadly giving a State Commonwealth Address for the NXT Tag Titles. (I wish l
could make this up they were addressed like your kid’s 9 th grade history project) as they state they have
defeated everyone in the tag team division, they wanted to declare themselves as NXT Tag Team
Champions forever. The Brawling Brutes came out and stated they have to prove themselves as
Champions and laid down a challenge. (l’m not mad about this segment at all Pretty Deadly was funny in
their address and Brawling Brutes can make for an interesting match, l dig it.).
We then go to Alba Fyre who attacked Toxic Attraction with her bat in the parking lot, and kidnapped
Mandy Rose. This leads to whether or not the six-woman tag is off ... for now. (I like how Fyre is being
shown, but let’s not get stuck into the cycle of kidnapping the other like Dexter Lumis).
First match of the night we have Carmelo Hayes v. Oro Mensah in a fairly decent match in which Hayes
hits the top rope ax kick on Mensah for the W. (l guess as they want Hayes to shine considering the
ladder match for the North American title is coming up).
We cut to Brutus Creed who is under the impression he may not be cleared to wrestle, Duke Hudson
comes in and makes fun of him but gets a match against Julius Creed.
Next we have another qualifying match for the North American Title between Von Wagner vs. Andre
Chase with Carmelo Hayes on commentary. There was some attempted interference by Mr. Stone but it
had very little impact, Chase gets the W via Death Valley Bomb and punches his ticket into the title
match. (I guess they have more faith in Chase than Wagner at this point, which is odd considering the
previous runs Wagner has had but ok.)
Post match Wes Lee comes out and jump Carmelo Hayes
Sanga wishes Nathan Frazer luck in his qualifier match, only to be stared by Veer Mahaan (Hey there he
is! Imagine all the vignettes and videos that you were coming to RAW only to be wallpaper on NXT but l
digress).
Lash Legend says they are ready for Wendy Choo as Grayson Waller has his security ready to deal with
Apollo Crews’ visions.
The next match we have Wendy Choo vs. Lash Legend, in which it wasn’t a bad match but definitely
screams room for improvement as Choo hits the Vader Bomb on Legend for the W.
Wes Lee states they are ready for Halloween Havoc but wants Grayson Waller first, but he’ll first have a
match with Stacks.
Gallus promises to be back and go for the current NXT champion, Bron Breakker.
Next up we have Toxic Attraction (down one since Mandy Rose is kidnapped) vs. Nikkita Lyons & Zoey
Stark for a future women’s tag title shot. It was definitely an entertaining match as Lyons and Stark
really pushed the match at one point and didn’t let their foot off the gas. Lyons hit the split splash for
the W. (l’m not mad about this at all, but l could watch Nikkita all day. Toxic Attraction needs something
as they are a hot heel faction and this kind of competition can make for great women’s matches).
Iija Dragunov cuts a promo about he is ready to gain back the gold he never lost and that if he has to do
it by facing JD McDonagh and Bron Breakker at the same time, then so be it. (l like the idea of the triple
threat match for the NXT title and all 3 of these men are definitely capable of giving us a great match.)
We then have the Grayson Waller effect segment with Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. They talk about
how they want to fight each other with both throwing shade at each other, while Waller states they are
going to pick the other’s stipulation for their matches via the Halloween’s Havoc is Spin the Wheel,
Make the Deal. While Waller spins the Wheel and it falls on Weapons Wild (ok, that’s different) and as
the women fight, Waller gets pulled under the ring by Apollo Crews and Waller comes out with red eyes.
(l know this is a program for Apollo Crews but he deserves so much better than this. His gimmick has
changed a lot during his time in WWE, but the man can wrestle. So just let that be his gimmick!).
Then we have Julius Creed vs. Duke Hudson and in the about the same time you thought about a tweet
the match was over with Creed hitting the basement clothesline for the W. (Squash match indeed but
what was the point!?)
Post match Brutus Creed comes out and jumps Hudson but Damon Kemp comes on and say at
Halloween Havoc it will be different, laying down the stipulation that if Julius can beat him at Halloween
Havoc, Brutus will get another match and Brutus says Julius just needs 5 minutes. Kemp says Brutus’s
career is on line at Halloween havoc and Julius adds up the ante by making it an ambulance match. (Now
l’m all for career vs. something for a PPV but usually its career vs. title, it should be something to lose for
both sides but this seems one sided).
JD McDonagh says he is ready for the triple threat match against Dragunov and Breakker at Havoc.
(Guess everyone needs tv time).
We get to Xyon Quinn vs. Hank Walker in another quick, almost squash match as Quinn hits the running
fist on Walker for the W. Post match we have a brawl with Quincy Elliott makes the save.
Cameron Grimes approaches the red hoodied Schicsm person and warns them about Joe Gacy. Schism
then beats down Grimes and praises the red hoodies individual. (We already have a who is the white
rabbit thing going on in WWE, guess we need who is the hoody identity route as well..l guess).
Brown Breakker states he is ready for Halloween Havoc only to be interrupted by Javier Bernal who
states that Breakker isn’t very good and a match is set for next week. (There is a lot of wasted tv time in
this episode).
Our main event of the night is the Brawling Brutes v. Pretty Deadly for the tag team titles. It was very
entertaining match with both teams getting in some good spots, due to Imperium for the distraction
Pretty Deadly hits the Spilled Milk for the W. Post match the brawl is on until you have Edris
Enfore/Mailk Blade, Josh Briggs/Brooks Jensen staring at Pretty Deadly. (Possible triple threat for the tag
team titles, yes please.)
Overall, it was an ok episode as we get closer to Extreme Rules but the level of TV time compared to
actual matches was definitely not helping. Here’s looking forward to the next episode, my review for this
week’s NXT episode is a solid 3 out of 5 chair shots. Peace!

Judgement Day
Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of the AEW Dynamite 3-year anniversary celebration episode (It’s
been 3 years already!?) live from Washington, D.C.
First up we have MJF vs. Wheeler Yuta in what was a great match between the two, we knew MJF is gold
on the mic but we sometimes forget he can go in the ring and Yuta, that man needs no explanation he is
magic in the ring. MJF gets the win via Salt of the Earth submission. Post match its almost a handshake
between the two as Lee Moriarty and the firm attack Yuta but since MJF is affiliated he’s a little
conflicted. (Honestly for a first match it was definitely booked beautifully)
Next up we have Darby Allin vs. Jay Lethal in a great match that winds up with Darby getting the W over
Jay Lethal via his Last Supper Pin. (really inventive position for a pin by the way) Post match Jay Lethal
and Darby Allin having a show of respect by shaking hands. (Lethal looked awesome and Allin looked
really strong as the match could have been booked going either way and still would have been great).
The Embassy from Ring of Honor gives a promo regarding the Gates of Agony making their claim along
with Brian “The Machine” Cage coming for all the gold in AEW, specifically the TNT championship
currently owned by Wardlow. Which leads to our next match.
Its Wardlow vs. Cage for the TNT championship, for a match between two big, beefy guys they had an
excellent match in which Wardlow retained his title by power bombing Cage 4 times for the W. (This was
great booking in show how much it would take to keep Cage down and that Wardlow is on a massive
push with his current TNT title run. In my opinion everyone shined in this match) Post match the Gates
of Agony jump on Wardlow, his partner Samoa Joe and FTR come in to join the fray and eventually clear
the ring.
Dr. Britt Baker does a segment that Saraya (aka Paige) has not been medically cleared to wrestle as Britt
says that makes AEW her house. (Honestly as a wrestling fan, l don’t see the value in Paige wrestling
even in WWE she didn’t really have memorable matches and the fact that she seems to be getting
attention just doesn’t make any sense when she can be used to build up a new wrestler)
Next up is our six-woman tag team match of Toni Storm, Willow, Athena vs. Jamie Hayter, Serena Deeb,
and Penelope Ford. The match was a great time for the women to shine and they did not disappoint at
all as Willow gets the W for her team by hitting the Doctor Bomb. Post match Saraya hit Britt Baker with
an elbow and it’s a full on melee leaving only Rebel and Saraya in the ring with Saraya laying out Rebel in
the ring. (Again my previous comment on Saraya)
Quick segment of Private Party doing a roll call promoting the match of Hangman Adam Paige vs. RUSH
(Well there was bound to be some tv time with all these great matches)
The Acclaimed with Billy Gunn (Daddy Ass) celebrate the first annual National Scissoring Day. (l have to
admit it was pretty funny. The Acclaimed have no problem entertaining the crowd and giving them a
title run was genius booking) Swerve Strickland comes out for the interruption and challenges Billy Gunn
to a match next week.
We get a promo of the Dark Order promoting their trio title match against Death Triangle on the
anniversary of Brodie Lee’s last match.
Next up we have Hangman Adam Paige vs. RUSH in a very fast paced match. Both RUSH and Paige
looked strong in a lot of big spots in the match, but Paige gets the W via buckshot lariat to RUSH. (that
flip over top rope into a clothesline is poetry in motion). Post-match Moxley comes out and lays out a
challenge on October 18 th for a Last Man Standing Match with Paige. (l dig it, no complaints)
Willow does an interview post her win and Jade Cargill interrupts her while Willow says she wanted to
challenge Cargill for the TBS title this Friday on AEW Rampage. (As much as l like Cargill, l do believe it is
time for her to drop the title, her run has gotten a little repetitive, time to shake things up again!)
Luchasaurus comes out with Christian in a match against Fuel Del Sol in what was basically a squash
match as Luchasaurus win easily. Jungle Boy comes out for the interruption and challenges Luchasaurus
to a match as he says he will break him. Christian accepts the match and it will happen next week on
AEW Dynamite in Christian’s hometown of Toronto, Ontario Canada. (l’m not mad about this at all,
Jungle Boy can shine in this feud, Luchasaurus is perfect as a monster heel, and Christian is gold on the
mic)
We get a promo of the All-Atlantic Championship being on the line at Battle of the Belts IV since Orange
Cassidy has picked up and injury. It will be the bastard PAC vs Trent Beretta for the title this Friday on
Rampage.
We have our main event of Jericho/Sammy Guevara v. Daniel Garcia/Bryan Danielson in a great match
between all four men hitting everything but the kitchen sink, but with Jericho getting a ROH belt shot to
Garcia was just enough for Guevara to roll up and get the W for his team. (The finish was a little off but
after a night of great matches like this, l’m not complaining)
Overall, this AEW Dynamite episode was just spot on. The matches did not disappoint, the segments
were great, and the build-up on current storyline is almost damn near masterful. This puts a lot of
emphasis for Rampage as it will be Battle of the Belts IV. My rating for this edition of Dynamite, 4 ½ chair
shots out of 5. Peace!

Judgement Day
Hey Y’all! Will here with my review of WWE Monday Night Raw for 10/10/22, live from New York City,
New York. Let’s get into it.
This is the season premiere of RAW (Again, for a weekly episodic show that has no off-season how in the
world is this a season premiere but l digress) We see Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, and X-Pac are in the
back and talking to HHH as he is in the gorilla position with headset on. Triple H is telling his old DX
buddies to be nice but in true DX fashion more than likely there will be swearing, anatomy jokes and
probably a rubber chicken or two. Yeah it’s going to be that kind of night.
We get introduced to the new commentary team of Kevin Patrick with alum Corey Graves. (Not mad
about it, Michael Cole couldn’t fill the void good Ol’ JR left but let’s see how it goes)
We start off with the bloodline in the ring and Sami Zayn post the Logan Paul segment from Smackdown
last week. (Still trying their hardest to hype up a match no one asked for) in which Sami and Jey are still
at each other’s throats, and the crowd is behind Sami at this rate. Riddle comes in to interrupt to which
he says he wants another shot at Reigns to which Reigns polls the audience and responds with… “nah” (I
have to admit that was pretty funny). Riddle asked who wants to step up & Jey volunteers Sami for an
impromptu match. (I’m really surprised that Riddle is being inserted into something else so quickly post
his Fight Pit match with Rollins at Extreme Rules).
After a long recap of Extreme Rules (that no one asked for) we begin our first match of the night with
Austin Theory v. Johnny Gargano. Not a long match as Gargano gets the W over Theory with One Final
Beat. (Not really sure what they will do with Theory, the fact he has a MITB case and yet hasn’t
capitalized l’m just surprised he’s being utilized to just jobber status at the moment.)
Next up we have Rey Mysterio v. Chad Gable in which was another kind of short but not really long
match as Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio are watching the match. Rey gets the W over Gable with a
610 followed by a slingshot splash for W. However, the more interesting thing is what happens post
match. Rhea and Dominik go after Mysterio in the ring with Dominik daring his father to hit him until
with Rhea’s assistance, Dominik gets in a 619 of his own on his father. (If the idea was to keep the feud
with the Judgement Day going, it’s not really working trying to get the whole father/son thing going and
it just feels flat.)
We come back to Judgement Day in the ring and they begin to brag about what they have accomplished,
including making Edge say I quit, Balor seems to be very elated regarding that. They do a quick recap of
the I quit match from Extreme Rules and Balor says it’s time for AJ Styles to make a decision. To which AJ
Styles comes in and says he needs some friends to help him there and as he goes to shake Balor’s hands
he says that’s not who he was referring to. The OC music hits and out comes Gallows and Anderson (The
Club, Good Brothers, etc.) and they clear the ring along with Styles with the Judgement Day retreating.
(Well, you can tell Triple H is definitely in charge by who they are bringing back)
We got to Damage Ctrl who is still mad about Bayley’s loss to Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules and
promises revenge. They announce that Bayley will have a match later with Candice LeRae.
We get a quick segment to where the Bloodline is about to hit the down and Reigns tells Jey to hang
back and make sure Zayn wins his match. Cue the face of just disgust and expired pig feet.
We get our match of Bayley vs. Candice LeRae which for a moment looked it was all Bayley until Candice
countered a rose plant from Bayley into an inside cradle for the W. Post match the rest of Damage Ctrl
comes out to beat down Candice while Bianca Belair tries to come down for the save but succumbs to
Damage Ctrl as they stand over them. (Not really sure of where they are going with this, Damage Ctrl is
losing matches but still wins the beat downs post match, this would be a perfect time to introduce a
women’s trios championship, just saying Triple H.)
It’s the Miz’s b-day celebration but Miz is worried about Dexter Lumis ruining his special day. Maryse
gives Miz his first gift, and it’s a baseball bat. So we move forward with the Miz’s celebration in which
Maryse gives a him a signed baseball bat, and then with one present as Miz unwraps it, he sees the head
of one Dexter Lumis. After a short scuffle, Miz and Maryse leave the ring while Dexter eats cake. (And
that my friends is how instead of giving us another 10-minute match, we have a failed segment that
goes nowhere. This needs to go somewhere, expeditiously.)
We cut to DX giving a couple of guys a pep talk before they face Omos (yay local talent) before Miz and
Maryse come in and demand something to be done about Lumis. Shawn Michaels believes Miz did
something to Lumis to cause all this but Miz says he will do anything to get rid of him. Road Dogg
suggest a match between them next with a stipulation. If Miz wins, Lumis is gone from WWE but if Lumis
wins he will get Miz’s stabbed balls, and a WWE contract. (So it’s a career v. stabbed balls/wwe contract
match, really thinking outside the box creative department)
Next we have Omos v. local NY talent and by the time you checked on your fantasy football team, Omos
wins in dominant fashion. (as JR used to say, he doesn’t get paid by the hour, l mean we have seen
weeks of squash matches by Omos, either put him up against Strowman or someone because this is
getting old really fast)
So we have Bobby Lashley in the ring before his US title match with Seth Rollings and he’s naming
people he’s beaten in his career, until he gets to Brock Lesnar who comes out and F5 to Lashley, German
Suplex, another F5, and a Kimura lock on Lashley before leaving laying out in the ring. (Great Lesnar is
back, and decided to take a shot at Lashley.) We come back and Lashley is being checked on by the refs
and medics and comes out Rollins who says Lashley calls himself a soldier but really he is a disgrace to
his country. Welp, somebody ring the bell.
So we have our US title match with Rollins v. a less than 100% Bobbly Lashley defending. Rollins
capitalizing on the injured Lashley went after his arm to set up not one, but two stomps by Rollins to get
the W and become the new US champion. Lashley swears vengeance and wants Brock Lesnar in a match
next week. (It would have been better if the match occurred and Lesnar interrupted and caused Lashley
to lose his title then you have a better booking.)
Then we have a Bray Wyatt sighting telling us to revel in what we are. (Honestly, either wrestle or start
your faction or something because the weeks of QR code, your reveal at Extreme Rules, something
needs to happen than just vignettes)
Oh and Elias will be back next week, so l guess that’s nice.
We get our match of Riddle vs Sami Zayn with the Usos at ringside. Even with all the interference from
the Usos and Sami hitting a lot of moves, Riddle finishes Zayn for the W with an RKO. (That should make
for an interesting time on Smackdown this week)
Then we get the DX 25 th year celebration as they come in on the tank/jeep with X-Pac, Road Dogg,
Michaels, and Triple H. Of course X-Pac is glad to be there (where else would he be), gets a quick out to
Chyna. Road Dogg does the New Age Outlaw intro and the crowd does Billy Gunn’s part. Triple H says it
was 25 years ago when they debuted and Shawn asked if the fan will put them out of their misery
they’re out here again in another 25 years, and that was it. (This is a part where l wish this should have
been just a video package. We get the nostalgia pops, and for a lot of us we grew up with DX but l think
it’s finally time we let go of DX, chops and all because that segment was good and terrible.)
So with that season premiere of RAW, there seemed to be a lot of tv segments, and puff pieces but the
matches were definitely great, and the DX reunion, that needs to be the last one. My rating for this
week’s RAW is 3 chair shots out of 5. Peace.

DX Celebrates their 25th Anniversary on RAW
Hey Y’all! Will here with my review of NXT for 10/11/22. Roll the Tape.
Well, we’re approaching Halloween Havoc which probably means we’ll more than the usual slew of
matches tonight. The commentary team has changed to have Vic Joseph and Hall of Famer, 5 time (4
more times) WCW champion Booker T. ( Suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaaaa sorry you have to say the
whole thing)
We start first with a match between Javier Bernal v. Bron Breakker in a non-title match. JD McDonagh
joins the commentary but before the pyro goes cold Breakker puts away Bernal quick for the W with a
gorilla press powerslam. Post-match McDonagh get in the ring with Breakker and Iija Drugnov also joins
in the ring and here we go as Dragunov’s Torpedo hits Breakker but it looked like it was aimed
McDonagh. (Not mad about this at all, the tripe threat match for the NXT title looks like it will be
showstopper it can be among all three wrestlers. Great way to start the show.)
We get another NXT North American Title Qualifying Match of Axiom v. Nathan Frazer. Really surprised
by the depth of this match as both wrestlers got in a lot of offense but eventually Frazer cradles Axiom
for the W and punches his ticket into the Ladder Match for the NXT North American Title.
Backstage we cut to Dragunov leaving but gets off by Grayson Waller whom Dragunov makes fun of
Waller’s sunglasses and l guess those must have been fighting words as we have a match for later.
Valentina Feroz wants Sanga in her corner tonight which they oblige, Indi Hartwell comes in to suggest
that Feroz is in trouble. (Um, ok. Not a lot of context there but let’s go with it.)
Another segment with Apollo Crews writing in his journal about how one detail change everything as he
plots to get his hands on Grayson Waller at Halloween Havoc, as he promises to leave him in the dark.
(This is just me but Apollo deserves better. This just feels gimmick after gimmick and creative doesn’t
seem to have anything for him, when he could just be a destroyer that needs a manager. I can see him
with a manager who can elevate him in matches because he’s so talented but this is just not working.)
Next up we have our match of Indi Hartwell vs. Valentina Feroz with Sanga. Not much of a match as
once Feroz notice that Sanga is gone, Hartwell takes advantage of the distraction and get the W via
superplex. (I really don’t know what was supposed to happen here, because the Sanga angle seems to
take away from the match, but again this feels like creative may not have much in this situation.)
Speaking of wasted tv time post-match Pretty Deadly shows up with the huge cowboy hat with two beer
cans on the side mocking those fans who cheer for sports teams and the idea of anyone being a
challenge to them. (If this was supposed to put heat on them, it kinda failed with this crowd.)
We then have a Halloween Havoc Tag Team Title Shot match between Mailk Blade/Edris Enfoe v. Josh
Briggs/B rooks Jensen v. Dyad. Really interesting match between all 3 teams until Cameron Grimes come
in to take Gacy out which allows Enofe to pin Reed for the W for his time and earn a tag team title shot
at Halloween Havoc.
We then cut to Toxic Attraction who want their rematch for the Women’s Tag Team titles also Kiana
James wants to shut down Chase U because the land it’s on is really valuable. (More TV time.)
Then you have Alba Fyre v. Jacy Jayne in what was definitely a contender for match of the night Fyre
puts away Jayne with the Gory Bomb for the W. Post-match a fan jumps Fyre and its revealed that its
Sonya Deville who along with others who powerbombed Fyre through the announcer’s table. (l loved all
of this)
We then have Joe Gacy promising to end Cameron Grimes because of his interference and their red
hoodie follower is there with him as well. Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons are ready to win the women’s tag
team titles. Quincy Elliott and Hank Walker are match ready next week, Walker gives Elliott a quick
spank and Elliott thanks him. (Yeah, that was a lot)
Next up we have Wes Lee v. Stacks in what a short match, but really it was almost a squash match as Lee
hits the spiral tap on Stacks for the W. Post-match Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes come to beat Lee
down but Oro Mensah comes in for the save.
Sonya Deville likes Toxic Attraction and doesn’t like Alba Frye which leads to Deville waiting in the ring
for a one on one with Frye.
Roderick Strong, in a neck brace, sees the Creed Brothers and wants Julius to take out Damon Kemp at
Halloween Havoc. Strong apologizes for ruining things in the past and it seems all is forgiven. (I sense a
faction forming back up)
Then we have Thea Hail v. Kiana James which by the time you made your amazon purchase, the squash
match was done at James gets the W over Hail with a reverse sling blade.
Tony D’Angelo on crutches says he’s disappointed in Stacks for losing his match, and that Stacks has
another match for next but won’t tell him who his opponent is. (l’m calling a squash match)
Von Wagner tells Mr. Strong he needs to be serious for two weeks. Cameron Grimes seems to have
some friends for next week. Cora Jade has an invite from Rhea Ripley to come to RAW (sounds like
Judgement Day may be growing)
Our main event of the night is between Ilja Dragunov v. Grayson Waller. Wasn’t a bad match until the
Spin the Wheel Make The Deal wheel appears on screen and starts spinning on it, it was enough of a
distraction to where Dragunov hits the Torpedo on Waller for the W. (Again as l said the gimmick with
Apollo Crews needs so much more work and this isn’t working.)
Post-match Bron Breakker comes in and spears Dragnov down, while JD McDonagh gives applause.
Overall, its wasn’t a bad episode of NXT. You did see a larger amount of matches but some were quick,
and a few were squash matches along with segments that didn’t really need to happen but with
Halloween Havoc coming along, storylines could definitely use a shot in the arm beyond the women’s
tag title match, the men’s tag title match, the NXT north American title ladder match, and the triple
threat match for the NXT title. Time will tell, my rating for this week’s NXT is 3 chair shots out of 5. Peace

Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of WWE Raw for 10.31.22. Let’s get into it
We start off with a Non-title match between Bianca Belair v. Nikki Cross (finally we dropped the A.S.H.
gimmick, it only took a year plus) in a decent match as Nikki is back to her deranged gimmick and the
offensive move set that comes with it. However, Bianca does what she does best, show up and show out
in the match as well. It was fairly decent till Damage CTRL came down to interfere and Cross was able to
fight some off but runs into Bianca’s KOD as BelAir gets the win. Post-match Damage CTRL jumps BelAir
as Asuka and Alexa Bliss run to the ring to lay out Damage CTRL and stand tall with BelAir in the ring.
(Great match before the interruption but we’ve done this before, we’ve seen the six-woman tag match,
and it seems Damage CTRL seems to be in everything with everyone. It needs a refresh, either have the
tag team titles on the line or dare l say put Bianca’s title run in jeopardy but something needs to
change.)
We get a video recap of the events between Lesnar and Lashley over the last couple of weeks (Well,
when you got 3 hours you have to fill it up somehow)
We go backstage as Bianca, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss are being interview about their feud with Damage
CTRL. Bianca talks about her Last Standing Match at Crown Jewel against Bayley (Blood PPV). Bliss then
says she and Asuka have a score to settle with the tag team champs Iyo and Dakota as they challenge
them to a tag team title match later on tonight. (Well, look at God. I would hope the actual title match
would be on PPV to hype up the blood PPV because having it on RAW unless they actually drop the title
would feel more like time filler but we will see.)
Then we get a satellite interview between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley but Lesnar is not there as
Bobby points it out. Lesnar’s music hits and he heads to the ring, saying he didn’t come for an interview,
he came to fight. Lashley meets him in the ring and the two began to brawl as the locker room, referees,
and even Triple H comes down to separate the two, with threats that their match is off if they touch
each other again. (Well, if you want to hype up a match that’s about 20 years too late l guess that’s the
best way to do it.)
We get another non-title match between US Champ Seth Rollins and Mr. Money in The Bank Austin
Theory in a fairly decent match but kinda short, as Rollins counters a pin attempt by Theory which leads
into a stomp by Rollins for the win.
We go to the parking lot when an SUV pulls up and out comes the WWE Undisputed Champ Roman
Reigns, who comes to the ring and after saying to the crowd acknowledge him, he begins to talk about
his upcoming match with Logan Paul and how he will smash him in the match at Crown Jewel. The Miz’s
music hits and out comes the Miz who says he knows Logan Paul better than anyone and offers a deal
with Roman to help him with his stalker problem as Miz will help Roman with Paul. Roman lays out Miz
with a Superman punch to end to segment with Miz laid out. (This segment was amplified by the Ucey
gimmick Sami Zayn did on Smackdown and its starting to catch like wildfire, and it’s awesome.)
We come back to Miz in the trainer’s room holding ice on his face as he is being told Gargano will sit
down in an interview later tonight but Miz doesn’t care and wants his match with Ali tonight to be
cancelled. Ali comes in and says why does Miz want to cancel, when Ali is ready to go, since everything is
bigger in Texas, well almost everything. (Annnnnnndd, we’re back to the Miz and his balls… again. This is
the difference between Ucey and Miz’s balls, one got over naturally and one is being forced.) Miz
changes his mind and the match with Ali is on for later tonight.
Next up we get Damian Priest v. Karl Anderson in a short match, as Priest looks like he was setting up for
the Reckoning, but Anderson counters it into a backslide pin for the win. Post match the Judgement Day
and the OC brawl as Ripley low blows Gallows, Priest hits a Razor’s Edge on Styles, Balor hits the Coup
De Grace on Anderson, and Mysterio hits a Frog Splash on Styles as the Judgement Day stands tall over
the OC. (This needs to go to somewhere, we’re repeating last week just in reverse)
We then get a quick segment between Omos and MVP who addressed Braun Strowman’s comments
from Smackdown and MVP stated that he and Omos will be there at Smackdown this Friday with a
surprise for Strowman. (Let’s hope it’s a match because the slow build isn’t helping)
Then we get JBL coming to the ring saying it’s great to be back in Texas as he welcomes Baron Corbin
and begins to put him over as he tries to get heat off the crowd saying everyone knows the truth. Yet,
somehow R-Truth’s music hits and he comes to the ring with a horse and a cowboy hat. R-Truth comes
to the ring to tell Dallas a Happy Halloween as JBL says he looks ridiculous and R-Truth says JBL looks like
a hostile, steaming old man. (Creative, l know you shouldn’t mention Vincent McMahon, but since its
TV-14 now you could just say JBL looks like McMahon before his first lawsuit, that’s a shot). This allows
Corbin hit R-Truth from behind and hit End of Days on R-Truth. (l feel like this becoming a thing with R-
Truth who can deliver comedy gold but Corbin needs a feud, quickly. JBL on this promo tour gimmick
isn’t ready working here.)
We then get a Trick or Street Fight between Matt Riddle v. Otis. (Yes we were bound to have a holiday
themed match, although l miss the attitude bra and panties match but l digress). It was a hard hitting
match but a short one as Gable tried to jump in and clothesline Riddle in which Elias comes in and puts
Gable through a table and then slides a Jack of Latern over Otis’s head as he misses a Vader bomb which
leads to Riddle hitting the RKO on Otis for the win.
We saw Damage CTRL talking to Nikki Cross and Bayley is hyping up the tag team champs before their
upcoming match to remind them they are taking over the women’s division.
We then get the match between The Miz vs. Mustafa Ali in a really great match as Ali just shined in this
match and the Miz was definitely doing a great job of putting Ali over. During the match, Dexter Lumis
appears in the crowd and distracts Miz long enough for Ali to hit a superkick and then a 450 splash for
the win.
We then get the Gargano’s interview in which he states that the big secret between Dexter Lumis and
the Miz was that the Miz took advantage of Lumis’ financial situation and orchestrated the stalkings,
kidnappings, because the Miz was paying Lumis to do it. However, those payments must have ended
now that Lumis is coming for what he is owed. (So weeks of Lumis stalking, kidnapping Miz and the
bombshell may not have had the impact it did, if anything it feels like lazy creative writing)
We get our main event of the night as Women’s Tag Team titles are on the line with Damage CTRL vs.
Alexa Bliss and Asuka. Both Bayley and Belair are at ringside as well. Both teams definitely put on a lot of
offense however the turning point was when Bayley distracted the referee as it looks Asuka was going to
make Iyo tap out to the Asuka lock. Belair takes out Bayley. Sky tries to go for a moonsault as Asuka
avoids it and tags in Bliss who hits Twisted Bliss for the win and we have new women’s tag team champs
as the show ends. (Well, can’t say l didn’t call it, lol. As we are going into Crown Jewel, something
needed to change to refresh the feud as the only thing left would be the RAW Women’s title match,
now l would like to think that the title will not change hands overseas but this changing of tag team title
champs will hopefully send some part of Damage CTRL somewhere else.)
Overall, not a bad Halloween show, some segments weren’t needed, at the same time the Miz angle had
very little impact, and the Reigns segment did a lot more with a lot less. However, having Damage CTRL
drop the title refreshes the feud so not a bad show, my review for this episode of RAW is 3 ½ chair shots
out of 5.
Peace!

Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of NXT for 11.1.22 live from the Capitol Wrestling Center. Let’s get
into it.
Bron Breakker comes out and talks about Halloween Havoc and how it was a great night with Wes Lee
winning the North American title and Julius Creed’s victory. He’s then interrupted by Pretty Deadly who
insult Bron and say they should be the ones opening the show and not him. This brings out the new
North American champ Wes Lee who comes out to thank Bron for his kind words and insults Pretty
Deadly being more concerned about their looks than starting the show. This leads to Bron proposing a
tag team title match with Wes and Bron challenging Pretty Deadly for the tag team titles. (Not a bad way
to start the show).
First match of the night we have R-Truth v. Grayson Waller in an ok match. R-Truth started to show signs
of Cena via the five moves of Cena although after Truth does a split to avoid a Waller offensive, Truth
misses a dive outside of the ring and takes a hard bump, this eventually leads to medical helping Truth
out of the area and the refs stops the match with Waller getting the W. (Unfortunately injuries happen
and R-Truth may have a legitimate injury and will recover soon.)
Well then we have a Schism interview with their newest member, Ava Raine, who has been the talk of
the social wrestling world. As she begins to explain how she joined Schism, the interviewer suggested
that Cameron Grimes insinuated that Ava may have been brainwashed by Schism. Ava, enraged says no
brainwashed her and she saw what Grimes couldn’t in Schism. (Well, welcome to NXT Ava, l guess the
Schism v. Grimes feud continues)
Next up we have Kiana James v. Thea Hail in a very short, but sloppy match. A lot of missed spots as
Kiana James eventually get the W. (James did her best to make this match work, but Hail looks green as
grass in this and you can tell the match wasn’t getting anywhere with the crowd, they were that quiet.)
A lot in between follows next, McKenzie is with Briggs, Jensen and Henley and asks about the main
event. They say they’re rooting for the baby faces but if they don’t do it, they’re waiting in the
wings. Kiana James’ assistant hands over some paperwork and they read it without revealing what
it is. Backstage, Wes Lee and Bron Breakker are commiserating in preparation for their match when
Robert Stone walks in and chastises Bron for not defending his title. He wants a title match for Von
Wagner, and Bron says next time Von should come himself. (a lot of tv filler here, l’m concerned)
Next up we have Odyssey Jones v. Javier Bernal and it was a quick one. Jones almost damn near puts on
a clinic winning easily over Javier. (Not sure what was supposed to come of this, it was practically a
squash match)
We then get Toxic Attraction’s celebration of Mandy Rose 1-year reign as NXT Women’s Champ. There’s
fanfare, video, and even a lot of bragging from the champ herself. Until the ring fills with smoke and
Alba Fyre who appears and take out Gigi as Jacy and Mandy escape from the ring. Alba says this week
she took out Gigi and next week Jacy is next, in two weeks she’s taking the NXT Women’s title. (So,
Halloween Havoc should have been where Alba should have gotten the belt so now, we’re beginning a
new possible four-week program leading to another women’s title match!?)
McKenzie is backstage with Apollo Crews and he says Pretty Deadly got their moment in the sun
with Bron Breakker but the NXT Universe wants a match between them. So does he, but he doesn’t
believe Bron does because he’s a matchup problem for anyone in NXT including Bron. He says Bron
hasn’t said anything since they stared off. He says that Bron has been running from him. Von walks
in and says not to waste his time looking at Bron because he’s the future of the title. We get a new
recorded call from SCRYPTS where they say WWE can screen his calls but not his fury. He says
coming to NXT almost feels like home and he will leave his mark.
We then get our next match of Indi Hartwell v. Zoey Stark in a fairly decent match as Hartwell gets the
W. (looks like the beginning of Zoey’s heel turn)
T-BAR talks about how his lies are no longer shielded and something about a new order of high
justice in NXT. It isn’t about anger or frustration; it’s about authority. His authority. Valentina asks
Sanga what’s going on and to be in her corner tonight. Veer walks up and Sanga says he can’t.
Valentina leaves and Veer says kindness is weakness. They leave. Nikkita asks Zoey what’s going on
with her. Zoey says she’s frustrated by the loss but promises she’ll be on her game next week.
Katana and Kayden walk up and say they have no momentum and will lose next week, and Zoey
almost goes after them. (A lot of tv filler again, l’m concerned)
Then we get another quick match of Cora Jade v. Valentina Feroz in a squash match as Cora wins with
practically little difficulty. Post-match, Jade goes after Feroz but Wendy comes to make the save. She
nails Jade and grabs the kendo stick, and Jade bails.
We finally get our main event of the night for the NXT Tag Team titles with Pretty Deadly vs. Bron
Breakker and Wes Lee. Great match, probably the best match of the night as all four men went at it
and the first time the crowd tonight got really into it. It wasn’t until interference from Von Wagner
that allows Pretty Deadly to win and retain their titles (looks like we have another Bron/Wagner
feud) to end the show.
Overall, this NXT episode was really a letdown considering the Havoc and the previous one before the
premium live event. The matches either were short or squashes, a lot of filler in-between and felt like
more things were being set up for next week. Hopefully it will be worth it. My rating for this week’s NXT
is 2 chair shots out of 5.
Peace!

In it's debut, The Sandman, A show based on writer Neil Gaiman's mysterious character. Garnered well over 127.5 million watch hours in it's first week debut. Placing it on Netflix's tTop Ten list at number one. Although it's not considered a "second season" Netflix has said that it will be renewed for “more episodes and stories to be adapted
from multiple graphic novels.” Creator Neil Gaiman says in a statement. “It gives me unbelievable pleasure to say that, working with Netflix and Warner Bros., Allan Heinberg, David Goyer and I will be bringing even more of The Sandman stories to life. There are some astonishing stories waiting for Morpheus and the rest of them (not to mention more members of the Endless Family to meet). Nobody is going to be happier about this than the Sandman cast and crew: they are the biggest Sandman fans there are. And now it’s time to get back to work. There’s a family meal ahead, after all. And Lucifer is waiting for Morpheus to return to Hell…” The Sandman

Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of AEW Dynamite live from Cedar Park, Texas. Here we go.
We start off with a Battle Royal of Ricky Starks, Brian Cage, Jungle Boy, Orange Cassidy, Shawn Dean,
Dustin Rhodes, Lee Moriarty, Ethan Page, Matt Hardy, Kip Sabian, Dalton Castle, Butcher, Blade with the
winner gets a title shot at MJF for the Dynamite Diamond. Ricky Starks is the last man standing and get
the Battle Royal win and the title shot at MJF, who comes out after the Battle Royal to say he’ll beat
Starks easily. The crowd is definitely behind Starks and MJF is getting heat as MJF says he will call Ricky
Starks the pebble after calling a dollar store Dwayne. Then Starks out of nowhere eviscerates MJF, l
mean burn after burn after burn on MJF. It got the point where MJF low blows Starks but Starks hit the
spear on MJF. (This was a pretty good segment, the battle royal was good but the post-match promo
between Starks and MJF was so good you almost forgot there was a match before.)
Samoa Joe is ready for Darby Allin. Jon Moxley is tired of all the talking and wants to beat someone up.
Like the Jericho Appreciation Society, to make sure there is no sports entertainment.
Next up is the TNT Title between Darby Allin v. Samoa Joe it was a great match and the action had us
thinking Allin could pull it off but Joe wins the match and retains via Koquina Clutch. Post match Joe hits
Allin with the skateboard and puts the Clutch on again. Wardlow runs in for the save. (If we’re going for
Joe v. Wardlow again, that’s fine, l just wish it was Hobbs instead of Joe as Wardlow has been getting a
lot of shine, but Hobbs should be getting a push)
Orange Cassidy offers Kip Sabian an All Atlantic Title shot but Sabian says he’s hurt. Instead, Cassidy
offers to let Sabian find someone to face him. Sabian smiles and leaves. (l guess impromptu match is
incoming)
Next up is Daniel Garcia/Jake Hager v. Claudio Castagnoli/Wheeler Yuta. Good match, but it feels like
we’ve seen this song and dance before just with different partners from the JAS and Blackpool Combat
Club. Castagnoli and Yuta get the win.
Post match Tony Schiavone is in the ring and shows us a clip of himself talking to William Regal before
MJF turned on him. They reminisce for a bit before Regal says that if you are seeing this, something bad
has happened to him. Regal talks about how the team is there to help build up Yuta. The reason Regal
turned on Moxley was to teach him one final lesson: always stay one step ahead because you don’t
know what is coming. Regal is Blackpool Combat Club until he dies. Back in the ring, the Club isn’t sure
what to think but Moxley promises to end the Jericho Appreciation Society. (Ok, we know Regal may be
heading back to NXT where he is needed, badly. However, the entire storyline with him and Blackpool
Combat Club seems to be just… off)
The House of Black is here to punish people for treason. (Enough talk, let’s actually see some matches)
Our next match is Kiera Hogan/Madison Rayne/Skye Blue v. Jade Cargill/Baddies in a forgetful match.
(which hurts to say that.) Cargill gets the W with Jaded. (It was a squash match but this is where l fear
with Cargill its beyond stale now. She needs to take a loss as well as getting more character
development. Even with her upcoming mess with Bow Wow, something needs to happen to refresh her
character. Quickly.)
Saraya is in the back when Britt Baker interrupts. She has tickets for Saraya to come to the Kia Forum,
but not for a rematch. Instead, Saraya can get a partner to face Baker and Jamie Hayter. Saraya tries to
get Tony Schiavone, but Baker takes him away (Why is this still a thing!? Britt can work and make
anybody great, except Saraya. The nostalgia effect is wearing off and l don’t think this feud will have the
payoff they are hoping for.)
We get a Tag Team Title match between FTR vs. the Acclaimed in a really great match. Even with Jay
Lethal/Jeff Jarrett watching there was no interference and none was needed as there was a lot out of
action between the two teams. The Acclaimed did retain their titles via a surprise roll up pin. Post match
respectful scissoring ensues, which seems out of character for FTR. The Gunn Club pops up on screen
with a Christmas card from the Briscoes. (Great match and the post-match action is foreshadowing a lot
of forbidden door matches. I always liked the Briscoes and felt they can be on a lot more than ring of
honor and them vs. the acclaimed is definitely a great matchup.)
Overall, great show this week on Dynamite. My rating for this week’s episode is 4 chair shots out of 5.
Peace!

WWE RAW Review – 12.12.22 – Moving slowly towards the Royal Rumble, Bliss showing Wyatt vibes
Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of WWE RAW for 12.12.22 live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Here we
go.
We start off with a #1 contendership match with Bayley v. Alexa Bliss with the winner facing Bianca
Belair for the RAW Women’s title. Both Belair and Damage CTRL were at ringside as Becky Lynch showed
up to beat up Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai. Bayley after a missed opportunity at Belair runs in Bliss dropkick
which sets up for Twisted Bliss for the W. Post match Belair comes in to shake hands but Bliss would
rather have a hug. That works for Belair, but Bliss pulls her in for Sister Abigail. Bliss’ face goes all evil but
then she snaps back to reality and leaves, looking upset with herself. (So not a bad way to start, this
frees Bayley to go after Lynch to set up their own feud. However, l think it’s odd since the Wyatt faction
was teased but nothing has come from that. Bliss tapping into that is foreshadowing something but
really if anything now would have been a great time for her breakout into the character.)
We get a flashback of Kurt Angle spraying down Alpha Academy with a milk truck last Smackdown,
which leads to the Alpha Academy and the OC having a laugh at what happened previously. This sets up
an impromptu match between Styles and Gable. The match itself was ok, with Otis and the OC minus
Karl Anderson at ringside. Styles get the W over Gable with the Styles Clash. (I guess we have to keep the
Alpha Academy relevant in some way.)
Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis are going over some detailed drawings to decide what to do with
Lumis’ money. Candice LeRae comes in to suggest doing something related to the holiday season. This
seems better than the drawings, including fully functioning Iron Man suits and Bluey bling. (l mean
surely we could have come up with a better segment than this.)
We then get a match between Judgement Day v. Street Profits/Akira Tozawa. Yes, Akira gets to wrestle
consecutively in the same year. It was ok match but really didn’t get rolling until the end, Judgement Day
gets the W with Mysterio getting the pin after a Razor’s Edge by Priest. (l would like to think that besides
it being a great match, could this lead to Tozawa getting a push, many moons ago he was on a streak
and over with the crowd.)
So we go back to Dexter Lumis and Johnny Gargano on a spending spree, until we see the Miz try to
steal Lumis’s money bag. This results in a challenge by Miz to Lumis for the money next week in a ladder
match for double or nothing meaning Miz will have to put up money of his own. This eventually leads to
Miz being dressed as elf giving away his merchandise to fans. (My God, who thought this segment was a
good idea. The previous storyline was horrible and someone thought it was a good idea to continue it!?)
We get our next match of Iyo Sky v. Candice LeRae with Damage CTRL at ringside. It was a good match
that looked like LeRae may win but Sky gets the over the moonsault for the W. (l think we need to see
LeRae being able to beat Sky considering she beat Kai the other week to further the storyline.)
After the flashback last of the week of seeing Riddle being sent out via stretcher Owens isn’t happy with
the loss but Elias comes in and says he will have his back against Solo Sikoa. Owens reminds Elias of the
Ezekiel dilemma earlier this year and Elias says to forget about the past as he is in Owen’s corner. Elias
then performs a song in the ring for Riddle before his match with Solo Sikoa.
The match between Elias and Solo Sikoa was interesting with Sami Zayn ringside for the Bloodline
member. Kind of a short match, as Solo Sikoa hits the Spinning Solo for the W. Post match Sikoa beats
down Elias and Owens comes out for the save while the Bloodline bails. Elias thanks Owens for the save
but then Owens hits the stunner on Elias, guess he couldn’t let Ezekiel go.
We get then a promo of Tribute to the Troops coming up in the coming weeks.
We then get a match of Asuka v. Rhea Ripley with Dominik Mysterio at ringside. Decent match as Asuka
got a lot of offense but due to Dominik distraction and Asuka hitting the mist on him allowed Rhea to hit
the Riptide on Asuka for the W. Dominik is getting his eyes cleaned out as the rest of Judgment Day
freaks out. (I love Asuka but if Rhea is going to be the next push she should be going after Belair and
make it interesting. Asuka deserves more and another title reign which to me she would be perfect to
challenge Rousey on Smackdown but l digress.)
We see Ziggler hype up the US title and the match between Lashey and Rollins and talks about Theory
on him learning what it means to be a champion. (Really at this point, let’s just make the match because
we all can see Ziggler will be the test to see if Theory can get over with this new gimmick.)
We then get Seth Rollins v. Bobby Lashley as the winner will get a future U.S. Title shot. This match was
hard hitting and brutal with times it looked like Lashley had the match in hand, however, an attempted
spear by Lashley was countered by Rollins into a pedigree for the W and the title shot. Post match
Lashley goes after the referee so here is Adam Pearce. Lashley shoves him too and gets fired. (l’m
surprised that Rollins was the booking choice to go with this, considering that Lashley when he did have
the title didn’t have the run he should have had. Now with being fired makes you wonder if a new
gimmick for Lashley is coming, time will tell.)
So this episode of RAW was ok, but to be honest, it was almost a skippable show. There was nothing
must see or memorable that you could have caught on a replay. Hopefully next one will be better
because there is a lot of room for improvement. My rating for this week’s RAW is 2 ½ chair shots out of
5.
Peace!

Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of NXT for 12.13.22 live from Orlando, Fl. Here we go.
Once we get past the recap from Deadline, We get some chatting between the two winners of the Iron
Survivor Matches, Roxanne Perez and Grayson Waller. Bron Breakker interrupts to say Perez will be the
next women’s champion and after Waller says he’s outsmart Breakker, Breakker chases him through the
crowd and Perez gets jumped by the current champion Mandy Rose. (Not a bad way to start the show,
introducing the contenders to the current champions to get build-ups going.)
JD McDonagh is getting checked out by Medical until the Creeds come in, and after some talking an
impromptu match is made between Brutus Creed v. JD McDonagh
We cut back to Roxanne Perez who wants she wants her title shot against Rose tonight and Rose
acknowledges it. (Well, that’s different but l like it)
After Stacks jumps Wes Lee, this eventually becomes a match between the two, with Lee eventually
getting the win over stack via a backflip kick to the head. Post match Dijak comes out to distract Lee,
allowing D’Angelo to jump Lee from behind. (So we’re still going with a triple threat for the North
American title. I would rather it be Dijak vs. West Lee because Stacks just fills like fluff and adds nothing
to the match.)
Chase U runs into Duke Hudson shaking hands with Drew Gulak. Andre Chase thinks Duke might enter
the transfer portal and even apologizes for last week. Hudson stated he is not going anywhere and is
ready for his match with Damon Kemp. (Maybe it just me but Chase U simply is not working.)
We then get a female tag team match between Tatum Paxley/Ivy Nile vs. Toxic Attraction. Kacy
Catanzaro and Katana Chance are at the commentary table, but eventually got into the match and
jumping Toxic Attraction causing the DQ. (Ok, l guess we’re laying groundwork for the next group to face
Toxic Attraction.)
Fallon Henley’s mom isn’t having a good day but Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen want her to be happy.
2023 will be their year. Carmelo Hayes says he would have won the Iron Survivor Challenge with five
more minutes, but Trick Williams shows him a shot of Axiom’s moonsault.
We then get a match between Odyssey Jones v. Von Wagner with Malik Blade, Edris Enfore, and Mr.
Stone at ringside. It wasn’t a squash match but had squash match feels as Endore’s distraction with a
kick to Wagner’s head, allowed Jones to hit a crossbody for the win.
Next match is Ikemen Jiro v. Javier Bernal in a short match, Jiro’s super hurricanrana set up for the
Ikemen slash for the W. Post match Scrypts jumps Jiro and steals the jacket. (Why in the world is Scrypts
still a thing!?)
Wendy Choo is happy Cora Jade lost the Iron Survivor Challenge because Jade is bad. Choo even talks
about the evolution of her drink throwing, which started with a bad experience at a slumber party.
(Well, chalk this up to segments that sound great on paper but not in reality)
We then get the New Day who are celebrating their NXT tag team title win last week as Woods and Kofi
are talking about their accomplishments when they interrupted by Pretty Deadly, who are wanting a
rematch for the titles. New Day says if they will recite the Pledge of Allegiance they will get one. (For all
those who may not know Pretty Deadly is English.) So they did recite the pledge as they look like they
are sick to their stomachs but they will be getting a rematch next week.
The women’s division is in the back, talking about the Iron Survivor Challenge. Elektra Lopez talks a lot
until Indi Hartwell jumps her, and the fight is on. (l guess we needed some tv fill time)
We then get Brutus Creed v. JD McDonagh with Julius Creed at ringside. Not a long match between the
two, with McDonagh brutalizing Creed but due to Indus Sher interfering and taking a chair away from
McDonagh, he was still able to get the W over Brutus via Devil Inside.
Zoey Stark didn’t like a Nikkita Lyons Tik Tok reaction video from Deadline, so they’ll fight about it. (l
thought Stark moved on with her huntress gimmick but ok)
Lyra Valkyria is ready to debut. Isla Dawn is ready to use some magic to get rid of Alba Fyre. (More TV
filler)
We get the debut match of Lyra Valkyria vs. Amari Miller in a squash match as Valkyria get the W via
frog splash
Axiom isn’t worried about Carmelo Hayes. Kiana James comes up to Brooks Jensen in the back, with
Jensen seeming rather nervous. Jensen is worried about Fallon Henley but here is James’ assistant with a
Christmas gift for Jensen: a new dress shirt which actually fits. Toxic Attraction jumps Katana Chance and
Kayden Catanzaro.
We then get Duke Hudson vs. Damon Kamp with Chase U at ringside. Andrew Gulak makes an
appearance and Hudson gets the win with a big boot followed by the pin. (l don’t get the whole angle
since they teased before Hudson would turn on Chase U, Chase U needs something fresh and a betrayal
by Hudson would be the spark Chase U needs)
We then get our Women’s Title Match between Mandy Rose vs. Roxanne Perez in a very good match
that went back and forth, even with Perez kicking out from Kiss from the Rose, and in a twist of events
Perez goes for a small package for a two count that leads to a Pop Rox and Perez the W and is the new
NXT women’s champion. (It’s a nice change of pace to see a title drop change hands post a premium live
event. Rose had a great run as champion and we now get to see what Perez can do in her run.)
Overall, the show wasn’t bad but it could have been better. The women’s title right after Deadline was a
nice change of pace and even the belt changing hands was better. Although some matches were on the
quick side and this felt like more of a building up of storylines for next week. My rating for this week’s
NXT is 3 ½ chair shots out of 5.
Peace!
