Hi Guys, Will here with my review of Monday Night Raw for September 19, 2022 live from the SAP
Center in San Jose, California.
We start with the US Title Match of Seth Rollins vs. Bobbly Lashley and the match seems to be a little
long with an eventual interference from Riddle which allowed Lashley to hit the spear and retain the
title. There were awesome spot in the match especially where Rollins countered a spear into a pedigree
by Lashley but it seems with Riddle interfering the feud between Rollins and Riddle isn’t ending anytime
soon. What l feel bad for is that Lashley needs a program, he’s been putting on stellar matches as of
late, but he needs a program of his own instead of fill in matches to max out the tv time.
Damage Control comes out to do a promo after winning the Women’s Tag Team Title last week while
Bayley being in her hometown came out to chants by the crowd. They eventually get interrupted by the
group of Bianca BelAir, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss. After some talking and eventually a right hand from Bliss
to Bailey we are set up to a main event match later on with Bliss vs. Bailey. This oddly feels like this
program between these six women sounds like a War Games scenario since that PPV isn’t too far from
now.
Next we have Austin Theory vs Kevin Owens in a solid match to where KO gets the win via distraction by
Johnny Gargano going for the MITB case which KO hitting the pop up power bomb on Theory for the
win. What also happened is that there was a QR code in the background to where if you scanned it,
would eventually lead to a white rabbit and the date 9.23 which is this Friday. Did we get Bray Wyatt
confirmed for his return on Smackdown? Not sure where they are going with Theory and his MITB but
still l would like to see him go for something as it feels as if he is just staying on tv to remain relevant.
We have a promo for Reigns vs. Logan Paul for the WWE Undisputed Title at Crown Jewel this
November. I guess since this will be an overseas PPV you have to fill the seats somehow. Paul going for
the title feel a little flat when compared to Bad Bunny and his performance.
We have the Brawling Brutes come and talk about their upcoming match again the tag champs the Usos
to be interrupted by the Street Profits and have a tag team match with them. Brutes gets the win over
the Street Profits. I’m honestly wondering when Triple H will finally give the Street Profits their time to
shine because they have been on tv quite a lot and provided some solid matches. Ford is amazing
talented in the ring along with Dawkins making for an explosive tag team that needs the belt since their
NXT run.
Backstage Gargano and Owens met Alpha Academy where they will set up for a match next week. I
kinda feel Alpha Academy is becoming the eternal jobbers in WWE even though Gable is incredibly
talented and Otis just seems not to fit in the whole AA gimmick. I do miss the times he was with heavy
machinery as that collaboration really benefitted him.
Judgement Day came out and after some heat from the California crowd had a tag match versus
Mysterio and Riddle. Judgement Day got the win over Mysterio and Riddle due to Rollins interference
with Riddle and Dominick interfering with Rey. Its kind of weird when you see Ripley and Dominick in a
“situation “but hey whatever works works.
Riddle and Rollins battle backstage which leads to Riddle challenging Rollins to a fight pit match at
Extreme Rules. Well, l guess welcome back RAW Underground minus Shane McMahon. We’ve come full
circle now.
Miz TV segment is next in which Dexter Loomis appears out of nowhere and tries to kidnap The Miz but
is saved by Ciampa. Well, as much as Loomis deserves to be back on tv, l just wonder where this is going,
an eventual match with Loomis vs. Miz or Loomis vs. Ciampa. Whatever It is, it needs to go somewhere.
I’m looking at you WWE Creative; the shackles are off now.
Judgement Day runs into AJ Styles and Styles is disgusted with Balor but Balor hugs him. Yeah not sure
where that one is going.
Bliss video package rolls before the Bliss vs. Bayley match. After interference from both sides, Bayley
gets the win over Bliss via the Rose Plant, and Damage Control beats down BelAir, Asuka, and Bliss only
for Bayley to signal she wants BelAir for the Women’s Title at Extreme Rules to end the show.
Rating: 3 ½ of 5 chair shots.

Hey y’all, Will here with the recap of WWE’s NXT for 9.20.22
We are start off with Shawn Michaels backstage with Solo Sikoa and Carmelo Hayes as Michaels stated
because Sikoa was not a part of the fan’s picks for the North American Title (even though he already had
title defense match) he would need to relinquish the title. First, WTF? I understand if you’re attempting
to push Sikoa to main event roster for Smackdown but this ain’t it. You could have him drop the title to
someone to give them the rub but l digress. Melo asked if he could get the title back which Michaels said
he would need to qualify for a ladder match that will be for the title at Halloween Havoc.
Next we have Axiom vs. Frazer in what seems to be a best of 3 series. Solid match with a lot of great
spots which Frazer won over Axiom with a superplex and a phoenix splash for the win.
Toxic Attraction came on with their match vs. Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley, started off slow but eventually
they found their footing with Toxic Attraction getting the W with the High/Low on Ivy. TA is one the
premier attractions on NXT which can only mean it will be a matter of time before their main roster call
up.
Joe Gacy and the Schizm were going a promo with calling out those who oppose them and out comes
Cameron Grimes who Gacy called out and they proceeded to brawl. Malik and Edris eventually come
and we all have an all-out brawl that leads to a tag team match between the Schizm v. Edris and Malik.
The match was fast paced which Schizm got the W by hitting the ticket to Mayhem on Edris.
Cora Jade vs Wendy Choo was up next in kind of a quick one as Cora got the W on Choo hitting a DDT.
Carmelo Hayes comes out wanting everyone involved with the Solo Sikoa match last week fired as Chase
U comes to want to make an “example” out of Hayes. This lead to an impromptu match between Hayes
& Trick Williams vs. Chase U. Not a bad way to salvage the leaving Sikoa by putting focus back on Hayes
as Chase U gets the win over Hayes and Williams.
Then we had Von Wagner vs. Sanga in other quick match (a lot of quick matches) in which Wagner got
the W over Sanga with the Samoan Drop
Quick Promo of Cameron Grimes backstage vowing to beat down the Schizm next week. As good as
Grimes is, this feels more of a step down for him considering the high profile matches he’s had in the
past. This could be to build up the Schizm’s profile even more.
We have a Halloween Havoc Ladder Match Qualifier between Grayson Waller vs. Oro Mensah. Great
match between the two, and due to an Apollo Crews distraction, Mensah got the W over Waller and is
now in the Title Ladder match at Halloween Havoc.
Creed Brothers arguing over who will beat Damon Kemp before agreeing they will both do it. ( Ok, l
guess we needed to fill up some tv time but the quick matches before… you know what nevermind)
Next we have Tyler Bate v. JD McDonagh in a very exciting match as both wrestlers looked awesome and
the crowd was definitely into it, JD wound up getting the W over Bate via Devil Inside suplex. Post-
match, Bron Breaker is about to congratulate JD as Ilja Dragunov’s music hits as he is back in NXT.
(Welcome back!)
Overall... a solid NXT episode. My rating 3 of 5 chair shots.

AEW Dynamite Review – 9.28.22
Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of AEW Dynamite for 9.28.22 from the Liacouras Center in
Philadelphia, PA.
We begin with the Jericho Appreciation Society championship celebration in which Angelo Parker gets
heat calling Philly the city of losers, while telling the crowd to stand up and appreciate Jericho. (l felt like
that should have been a “drink it in maaaaaan” ala his gift of Jericho/the list gimmick from WWE). Then
the Appreciation Society brings out a pizza maker who seems very stingy and Jericho states no can have
pizza but they have him, the current ROH and most important champion in history. Jericho gives Garcia a
gift, which is a hat which triggers Garcia who hits the pizza maker and says he’s had enough. (What did
the pizza guy do to you !?) Jericho warns Garcia that if he should make the wrong choice, that he will
take him out. Bryan Danielson comes out and says Garcia can do what he wants. Matt Menard steps in
and says he wants to punch Danielson in the face right now which leads to Bryan challenging Menard to
a match and here we go. (Not a bad way to start dynamite although l felt like if you’re going to get
Garcia over he should have been involved in some way, having Menard just jump in felt like a
misdirection but still loved it.)
The impromptu match of Danielson v. Menard starts and does not disappoint. Danielson was explosive
with dropkicks while Menard got his shots in, especially with a DDT on the outside behind the ref’s back.
Claudio goes after the entourage Parker with an uppercut and then carries him to the back. Danielson
hit the flying knee on Menard and follows up with the LaBell lock for the W.
Wheeler Yuta comes out and does a promo on MJF calling him a coward, and a runner. Yuta even says
Tony Schiavone has done more in wrestling that MJF ever will. MJF comes out and gives Yuta props as
being one of the best wrestlers in the word but also MJF says he makes more money than everyone else
in the crowd and those watching at home. Yuta says that he will leave MJF in a pool of blood when he’s
done. Austin and Golten Gunn then back MJF as he says will take on Yuta next week on Dynamite.
(Overall great segment, MJF does what he does best, brings the best out of his feuds with opponents.)
Next we have Jon Moxley v. Juice Robinson in what was a good match. Robinson some offense on
Moxley but Moxley eventually got the W by submission using the armbar on Robinson. (kind of unusual
to see Moxely win without using the Death Rider but ok, change is good.) Post-match Hangman Adam
Page comes and both him and Moxley have a staredown, while MJF says he might cash in on the world
championship before they reach Cincinnati. Yuta appears behind MJF who he throws over the couch and
lands a few shots before security breaks it up.
Saraya (aka Paige from WWE) makes her entrance and starts a promo saying she’s not damaged but not
broken, how she is the revolution, and will bring change in the women’s division, and says this is her
house. (Ummm, did she literally just use the same promo she did when she got called up to the main
roster back in WWE?) Britt Baker and her entourage comes out for the interruption and she says she is
the face of the women’s division, and that her neck is strong enough to handle the women’s division.
(Bruh, talk about shots fired.) Britt says she respects Toni but she couldn’t keep away from the more
problematic women in wrestling as Saraya announces a lumberjack match. (It does make you wonder
what exactly is Saraya going to do, but if l had to guess she will be wrestling but to interject her
immediately into the title hunt with Baker, that’s a little too fast but that’s just me.)
We go to the lumberjack match for the AEW women’s championship between Toni Storm v. Serena
Deeb. Not a bad match between the two as Toni hits the Storm Zero on Serena for a near pinfall but
eventually hit a second top rope piledriver for the W and retain her championship.
Next we have a match between Ricky Starks v. Eli Isom. Really was a squash match as Rickey hits the
spear on Eli followed by the roshambo for the W.
Then we have the ROH world championship match between Chris Jericho v. Bandido in what was a great
match that was really PPV quality. Both wrestlers had a lot of offense and the crowd was definitely into
it as we got “This is Awesome” chants. Eventually Jericho locked in the walls of Jericho for the W and
retained his ROH world championship. Post-match Jericho says he’s going to beat every great ROH
champion then challenges Bryan to a championship match next month and then hits the judas effect on
the ring announcer to close out the show. (l like this, Jericho may single handedly get ROH back on tv
with this, a champion going after former ROH champs is a beautiful program that has a lot of potential.)
Overall this week’s dynamite episode was great, and setup not only the AEW world title picture, AEW
women’s title picture, and even ROH world title getting its own program. However, even with the
introduction of Saraya, l hope they wouldn’t make the mistake of pitting her against Britt Baker early,
but that’s guessing sometime in the near future she will be wrestling. Time will tell. My rating for this
week’s dynamite 4 ½ chair shots out of 5. Peace !

NXT Review 9.27.22
Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of NXT for 9/27/22 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando,
Florida.
We start with Dragunov who comes to the ring to welcome back chants from the fans as he stated on
his return he was unbeatable and has a new challenge in mind, the NXT championship. Out comes the
#1 contender JD McDonagh who reminds Dragunov that he’s the first line for the next NXT title shot and
tells Dragunov to get to the back of the line because now it’s his time. Out comes the NXT Champion
Bronn Breakker. Bronn tells everyone the title is staying with him as he proposes a triple threat match
for the title and tells them both he will see them at Halloween Havoc. (Not a bad way to start off NXT
and it’s been a while since there has been a triple threat match for the title.)
We cut backstage to a fight between Gallus and Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs.
Toxic Attraction makes their way into the building while Mandy Rose calls out Fallon Henley. (can we
just say this is the best run Rose has had since she started, at least l think so.)
Video package of the Schism sending a warning to Cameron Grimes of their upcoming match.
Up next is the Unified NXT Women’s title match of Rose vs. Henley who have a fairly decent match in
which Henley had some near falls but ultimately Rose gets the W with the All Kiss the Rose knee for the
pin. Toxic Attraction stands tall post-match as Alba Fyre is showing on the big screen lighting a bat on
fire and then on the ground it spells out “#AndNew” while the crowd chants along with it. (l’m really
surprised they went with a clean match with no interference from TA during the match. Rose has had a
great title run and it may be time to start things fresh as it rumored that TA may be heading to the main
roster.)
We then get a video package of Apollo Crews on his revenge tour against Grayson Waller after Waller
costed him a title shot at the North American title. Setting up a future match between the two.
(Honestly, in my opinion Crews is truly talented but he could be doing so much more.)
We have another North American Title Ladder Match Qualifier with Wes Lee v. Tony D’Angelo in which
definitely had some hard hits in the match but at one point it see Tony hits the turnbuckle hard after a
miss by Lee in which Tony looks hurt and the referee checks on Tony and calls for the bell. Lee is
declared the winner. We get an explanation post-match that Tony got injured and because of it the
match was called as Lee looks disappointed as If this not the way he wanted to win. ( Well this is either
one of two things, a great adjustment on the fly if there was a real injury or a great shoot to set up
something new, either way we will find out.)
We cut backstage to an interview with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams to get their opinion on Lee
getting another shot at the North American Title. Hayes stated he doesn’t care who it is while Oro
Mensah interrupts him and they all have a stare down. (Not a bad way to really promote this upcoming
ladder match for the North American title.)
A video package for the debut of Sol Ruca rolls before her first match.
A video package for a day in the life of Pretty Deadly shows.
We get Sol Ruca enters NXT for her first match vs. Amari Miller in a fairly quick one as Ruca gets the W
after hitting a flipping leg drop on Miller for the pin. Ruca helps Miller up post-match and hug as the
crowd cheers for both wrestlers.
We see both Cameron Grimes and the Schism walking as we move to the next match.
Our next one is Cameron Grimes vs. Joe Gacy of the Schism in a really great match with some
interference with members of the Schism who taunt Grimes and even gets in some shots while the
referee’s attention was elsewhere. Eventually Gacy gets the W on Grimes with a handspring lariat for
the pin.
Then we have NXT Tag Team Champion Kayden Carter vs. Nikkita Lyons in a great match with a lot
offense on both sides but ultimately after a hard Irish whip into the turnbuckle Lyons get the jumping
roundhouse kick followed by the split leg drop for the W. Post-match Stark joins Lyons for the
celebration while the tag team champs recover. (Lyons is a star, we all know it, let’s just appreciate it.)
We get a flashback on Chase U defeating Carmelo Hayes and Trick Willams followed by a victory rally
earlier that day.
Next up is Xyon Quinn vs. IIja Dragunov as Dragunov wins in almost dominant fashion with the Torpedo
Moscow for the W. (They are really ramping up showing Dragunov as a serious contender for this
potential triple threat match and l’m all for it!)
Video package rolls of Wendy Choo and Lash Legend as Choo calls out Legend and Legend says she will
put Choo to bed next week.
Next match is Brutus Creed vs. Damon Kemp in which ends in DQ after a chair shot by Kemp to Brutus.
Post-match the chair shots continue while Kemp calls out Julius Creed to get some as well. (For this is to
be the center of attention, it didn’t to me hit as much as it should have.)
Our main event of the night is a Pub Rules Match of Gallus vs. Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs. During the
intro we cut backstage as Lyons and Stark stated they are going for the NXT Women’s Tag Titles as Toxic
Attraction interrupts them and says they are not ready for a title shot as Toxic Attraction has the
numbers game when a line of fire appears and so does Alba Fyre and Toxic Attraction backs down and
leaves. (Shout out to the pyro guy getting a big budget for fire!)
We cut back to the Pub Rules Match already in progress as Tables, Trash can lids are being used as the
offense for both Gallus and Jensen/Briggs go to war on each other. Eventually Jensen/Briggs are able to
hit the High/Low on Mark of Gallus to get the W. Post-match Fallon Henley comes out to celebrate with
Jensen/Briggs as Gallus fights security and hits the referee which leads to police officers coming out to
arrest Gallus and escort them from the performance center as the show ends.
Overall, this show was good, keeping all these storylines while providing great matches is definitely a
balancing act but this week NXT was able to pull this off. My rating for NXT this week is 4 chair shots of
5. Peace !

Hey Y’all, Will here with my review of Monday Night Raw for 9/26/22 from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
We start off with RAW Women’s champ Bianca Belair in the ring with Alexa Bliss and Asuka who calls out
Damage Control saying Bayley who wants to challenge can try her luck. Damage Control shows up
Bayley runs about how she runs the place and that Belair was handpicked and groomed to be champion
while she was running the division before her injury which Belair brought up. Then Bayley suggests a
ladder match for the Women’s Title at Extreme Rules which Belair accepts…maybe? Belair says she can’t
face Bayley tonight, she wants to face Iyo Sky which clears the ring and we have our first match of the
night.
We start off with Belair vs. Sky with both parties at ringside, and during the match we have cut to Sami
Zayn and Solo Sikoa entering the arena. The match between the two definitely shows off both strong
with surprising very little interference from outside. Belair gets the W after sidestepping a springboard
from Sky and hitting the KOD for the pin. Not a bad way to open RAW and the lack of interference really
allowed Iyo Sky to shine as we know she can and Belair as talented as she is giving a definite match to
watch.
Kevin Patrick is backstage interviewing Mysterio about his son Dominick, and his weird behavior from
RAW last week. Mysterio begins his promo of Rhea Ripley is manipulating his son and as a father that
leaves him torn. However, he said he needs to put it aside as he prepares his match with Seth “Freakin”
Rollings.
We go to backstage with the Miz who talking with security guards about a million-dollar opportunity to
be an extra in his next franchise. He calls them “Miz-force” as he explains their goal to find “he who shall
not be named” as they take off. Um, weird segment we all know they are doing something with Dexter
Lumis and the Miz but there needs to be a payoff with this, somewhere. You can only be creepy this side
of Halloween for so long.
We get to Rollins vs. Mysterio as Rollins lead the chorus to his intro and as he begins his promo of his
upcoming match with Riddle in the Fight Pit match. Rollins stated that after his match with Riddle
everyone will sing his song as the King of the Fight Pit. Match begins and here we go. Pretty good match
between the two as Rollins is getting the better share of offense on Mysterio. During the match,
Dominick comes out with a steel chair. (A QR code come on the screen for the white bunny). Rhea Ripley
also comes out during the match and along with Dominick distract and push Rey into the ringpost which
leads to Rollings getting the W via Stomp then the Peruvian Necktie. This needs to go somewhere, either
Dominick/Mysterio will have a match to end the feud because trying to keep it fresh may not last long as
the Dominick/Ripley kink may not be working.
We have backstage segment where Riddle was watching Rollins match and highly pissed off. Lashley
comes up and tells Riddle to make sure to put Rollins down in the fight pit. Riddle agrees and Lashley
warns him about interfering in his matches again and Riddle acknowledges it. (Um, ok. Lashley gives a
compliment and a warning but we can’t seem to give Lashley a proper US title run !?)
Owens and Gargano heading to the ring and we see one of the Miz-force security guards is knocked out
(…oooo mystery)
Next up is the tag team match of Owens/Gargano vs Alpha Academy. Very decent match, even with
interference by Austin Theory on Gargano, Owens/Gargano get the W with Gargano hits One Final Beat
on Gable for the pin. (Still lost on where Austin Theory and his MITB case will fit in somewhere, as he
seems to be involved a lot of matches when you would think he would have pitted against… the IC title
perhaps?)
Backstage we have AJ Styles being interviewed to see if he will join Balor and the rest of Judgement Day.
Balor walks up and tells Styles he will be in his corner as Sami Zayn will have Sikoa in his corner. Styles
declines and stated he can watch his own back.
We go to Austin Theory who is angry with Alpha Academy about the match and stated Otis hasn’t been
the same since Strowman. As if on demand Theory’s phone rings and its Braun Strowman. Strowman
declares next week in his hometown of St. Paul he will be beating his ass there. Gable looks pale. (Not a
bad way to keep some storylines alive but this needs to be a squash match.)
Next is your local squash with local jobbers vs. Omos in handicap match. Omos wins without a breaking
a sweat. (Omos is a great but he needs someone to feud with, these squash matches only work unless
you’re on a title run… hint hint)
We go backstage as Miz notices his Miz-force is down and out, Lumis dressed as an Edmonton Oiler hits
Miz with a hockey stick, and chokes Miz out and then cradles him. (Yeah this needs to go somewhere
because we’re almost borderline Criminal Minds now.)
Nikki A.S.H. is and the ring and she is facing the returning Candice LeRae (welcome back!) Not a bad
match but a quick one as Candice gets the W via swinging neck breaker from the second top rope.
We have a video package hyping up the Reigns v. Logan Paul match at WWE Crown Jewel… riveting.
Next we have an interview with the Judgement Day with Priest being asked if he’ll hold back on Riddle in
which Priest said Riddle is a former friend and will fall while Judgement Day rise.
Next match is Sami Zayn vs. Styles with Solo Sikoa at ringside. Great match between the two but due to
Solo Sikoa’s interference on Styles, Zayn gets the W via helluva kick for the pin. Post-match the
Judgement Day comes out and Balor gives Styles another chance to join and throws up the too sweet.
Styles goes to join but ultimately flips him off and Judgement Day begins to beat Styles down. Balor even
decides not to stomp on Styles head while in chair because he said that’s not what friends do. (l like this
because ultimately you can see Styles joining the Judgement Day but this can also set up a program
between him and Balor that we already know can lead to great matches.)
Next you have Priest vs. Riddle in a great match with plenty of near falls, and missed RKOs but even with
interference from Ripley which works against Priest, Riddle gets the W reversing a torture rack into an
inside cradle for the pin. Post-match the Judgement Day jumps Riddle and Edge’s intro music hit. Edge
comes out to a huge pop and spears Priest and Balor while Ripley pulls Dominick out the ring. Edge picks
up a mic and stated he wants to challenge Balor in an I Quit Match at Extreme Rules. To close out the
show.
Overall, it was a solid RAW episode, some of the matches suffered in time due to the video packages and
multiple commercials but we are seeing some great matchups for Extreme Rules premium live event and
welcome back Candice LeRae and Edge. I give this RAW episode for 9/26/22 a solid 3 chair shots out of
5. Peace !

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds team up!
I recently attended the Cleveland Gaming Convention this past weekend and I have to tell you I had an absolute blast!!
From tabletop gaming, old school video games and consoles to the guests (voice cast of Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat 2!) This was definitely an event to attend! First off, I want to thank our new sponsor. Ultimate Wireless who provided our tickets for our giveaway and shout out to the winner, @daijoubou_senpai!! Now, to the event. Upon entering the first
floor, I was greeted with several cosplayers dressed as a few anime characters, Mario and Luigi or course and even Miles Morales: Spider-Man and I knew I was in for a good time. There were several vendors on this floor selling goods from homemade beads and jewelry, vintage toys, consoles and more! At first it seemed there wasn’t much and being that this was my first time hearing about this convention, I wasn’t sure on how the turnout would be. However, imagine my surprise when I go to the lower level and I’m face to face with a Commadore 64 or found myself playing Goldeneye on N64.But, that wasn't the highlight. If you will played Mike Tyson's Punch-out. A classic Nintendo game that gave many Gen-Xer's headaches and find out Kevin Carbarello plays and beats this same game while blindfolded! Yes, that happened. Next, the voice cast of Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 were present to talk about their exploits and how they got the jobs in what is considered gaming's first most brutal game. Anthony Marquez (Kung Lao) came to the stage with the classic Razor-Rimmed Hat while John Parrish (Jax) tells the story on how the game developers wanted him to back flip slower? Ohio's very own record holder for cosplays owned, Knightmage was in attendance along with the team of Rubber City Cosplay was there to represent as well. With many rooms housing thousands of classic games, a Tecmo bowl tournament, pinball wizards and more. The Cleveland Gaming Classic is definitely a family -friendly event and a great way to spend the day.

Hey Y’all, Will here with the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam review from Queens in New York City.
We start with Jericho vs. Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World Championship. Terrific match as to be
expected between Jericho and Claudio full of near falls, and close finishers. Jericho after a low blow and
Judas Effect pins Claudio and becomes the new ROH Champion. Great match!
Next we have Swerve in Our Glory (Keith Lee & Shane “Swerve “Strickland) v. The Acclaimed for the Tag
Team Titles. Another great match between the four men with a lot of great spots and the home crowd
was definitely into it. After some Daddy Ass (Billy Gun) interference and a FameAsser, the Acclaimed get
the W and become the new Tag Team Champs.
We go to FTR backstage where they congratulate the Acclaimed before saying they’ve been #1
contenders and want a title shot. I always thought that part was off considering they’re right and that
they should have been in the match or at least had a three-way match but the Acclaimed are definitely
hot right now so l get the decision.
We come back to Tony Schiavone interviewing Wheeler Yuta who immediately gets interrupted by MJF.
MJF begins to talk with Yuta while Yuta mockingly claps for MJF and even brings up MJF’s engagement
to congratulate him. MJF begins to rip into Yuta and the Blackpool Combat Club until Yuta shoves MJF.
MJF responds with a head butt and knocks Tony Schiavone down. Yuta begins to beat down MJF until
he’s saved by W. Morrissey who allows MJF to hit Yuta with his diamond ring until Security breaks them
all up. Not a bad segment as a way to begin a new feud with MJF while also allowing W. Morrisey to be
connected to him for a better profile in AEW.
Footage of Jade Cargill being interviewed earlier that day while Diamante with Trina roll up on her, only
for Jade to say she will see both of them on Friday. Ok, that was.. something.
Next we have Orange Cassidy vs. PAC for the AEW All Atlantic Championship. PAC wins by hitting Orange
Cassidy with the timekeeper hammer behind the refs back and gets a lateral press for the win. PAC
retains. Interesting finish, l would have thought Cassidy was ready to have a title run but it seems this
feud may be far from over.
After that we have the AEW Women’s World Championship match between Athena, Dr. Britt Baker,
Serena Deeb, and Toni Storm (c). Great match between all wrestlers getting their time to shine in the
ring. Eventually Toni Storm does retain the title via crucifix pin on Baker. Post-match Baker begins to
beat down on Storm until new music is playing and Saraya hits the stage ( Paige from WWE ). Not sure if
Saraya will be wrestling in AEW or if she will be helping to run the women’s division. Time will tell either
way.
Video footage of Darby Allin traveling with a body bad as he’s getting into a cab and says he is headed to
a funeral.
Finally, we have the AEW World Championship Grand Slam Tournament Finals between Bryan Danielson
vs. Jon Moxley. This match was definitely the one to watch as both Moxley and Danielson really begin to
wail on each other with each getting near falls until Moxley locks in the sleeper hold and Danielson
fading which the ref calls the match to due to submission. Moxley is the new AEW Champion. Post-
match Regal comes to ring and raises Jon’s hand. Danielson gets in Regal’s face and they begin to talk at
each other until the show goes off. It’s interesting that Moxley was getting the strap, l think for him to
be a 3-time champion, this run may not be significant as we do need a fresh face with the title which
Danielson would have been the better choice. However, AEW is always subject to change.
Overall the Grand Slam was a very well done show, with some surprises which makes Friday night
Rampage something to look forward to. I give this week’s shows 4 of 5 chair shots.

WB within the year of 2021 have announced The Flash film being released for 2022, the return of Michael Keaton as Batman along with Ben Affleck also returning for the final time playing the role of The Batman and Michael Keaton also reprising his role in the HBO Max Batgirl film. With Sacha Calle playing the role of Supergirl and Keaton stepping down from the role and Leslie Grace stepping into the role as Batgirl. This started the rumor mill churning. The current Trinity as we know it that consists of Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman now changes to Wonder Woman (Gadot), Batgirl (Grace) and Supergirl (Calle). Ray Fisher who played the role of Cyborg in in the Whedon led Justice League film has gone on record as to saying how negative behind the scenes was as well as how his character was totally different from what he and Snyder discussed and was envisioned. Be Affleck has gone on record stating his time on the film as well was stressful along with Gadot and Momoa. Fisher, who was to reappear as Cyborg in the Flash film but was later cut from the film after his falling out with DC films president Walter Hamada, director of Justice League Joss Whedon and DC writer Geoff Johns. Left many wondering the fate of the film. Ezra Miller has gone on Twitter stating " No power or force in the known megaverse would or could erase Zack Snyder's wrkz. You can take that to quote, Take that to the bank, to the press, to the schools, to the military, ad the other pillar of capitalism I'm forgetting cause of that thing where if you try to think of a group of things, you always forget one of them."
